A little history

The Battle of Worcester in 1651 — where Cromwell defeated Charles II — was the final battle of the Civil War. Worcester Cathedral contains the tomb of King John (died 1216). Royal Worcester Porcelain — founded 1751 — is the world's oldest continuous porcelain factory. The cricket ground beside the Cathedral is one of England's most beautiful.
