A little history

Wednesbury was a major centre of enamelware and hollow-ware manufacturing in the 19th century — at its peak producing much of the Empire's metalwork. The town is now the main depot for the West Midlands Metro tram network. The church of St Bartholomew has fine Victorian stained glass.
