A little history

Young's Brewery operated at the Ram Brewery in Wandsworth from 1831 to 2006 — one of London's oldest commercial breweries. Battersea Power Station — decommissioned in 1983 and now transformed into a major retail, residential and arts complex — is one of London's most dramatic regeneration stories. Wandsworth Common provides excellent green space.

Local tip

Battersea Power Station's transformation is extraordinary — the Apple store inside is remarkable. Wandsworth Common for walking. The Ram Quarter (former Young's Brewery) for independent food. The Northcote Road for excellent food.
