A little history

Twickenham has hosted England rugby union since 1909. The stadium — capacity 82,000 — is the world's largest dedicated rugby union ground. Marble Hill House is a beautiful 18th century Palladian villa. Alexander Pope had his villa here and planted one of the most famous gardens in England.
