A little history

Tooting has one of London's most vibrant South Asian communities. Tooting Market and Broadway Market have been the commercial heart for decades. Tooting Bec Lido — opened 1906 — is Europe's largest outdoor freshwater swimming pool. Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, was born and grew up here.
