A little history

Tobermory's multicoloured harbourfront buildings — painted in vivid reds, yellows and blues — are one of Scotland's most famous images. The children's TV show Balamory was set and filmed here. Tobermory Distillery, founded 1798, is the only distillery on Mull. The surrounding waters have excellent whale, dolphin and basking shark sightings.
