A little history

Tenby's medieval walls — built in the 13th century and remarkably complete — make it one of the finest walled towns in Wales. The harbour, with its painted houses and boats, is one of the most photographed scenes in Britain. Caldey Island, accessible by boat, has been a monastic site since the 6th century.

Local tip

The town walls walk is outstanding. The harbour at any time is beautiful. The Caldey Island boat trip for the Cistercian monastery and the chocolate and perfume. North and South Beaches are excellent.
