A little history

Tain was granted Royal Burgh status by Malcolm III in 1066 — making it the oldest Royal Burgh in Scotland. Glenmorangie Distillery, founded in 1843, is one of the most celebrated Highland single malts. The Tain Through Time museum tells the story of this ancient burgh.
