Stourbridge was the world's leading centre of fine glassmaking — Venetian glassmakers brought their craft in the 17th century and the tradition grew. Stuart Crystal — among many famous names — was based here. The glass tradition is celebrated at the Red House Glass Cone (one of only four surviving glass cones in England) and the Broadfield House Glass Museum.

The Red House Glass Cone is extraordinary — one of only four surviving 18th century glass cones in Britain. The Broadfield House Glass Museum. The town centre for local shopping.
