A little history

Shepshed grew as a framework knitting and hosiery town. The town is at the edge of Charnwood Forest — Beaumanor Hall and Bradgate Park are close. The town has good community character.

Local tip

Bradgate Park (Lady Jane Grey's birthplace) is a short drive — excellent deer park and ruins. Charnwood Forest walking. The town centre for local character.
