A little history

Presteigne was the county town of Radnorshire. The Judge's Lodging — the former Shire Hall and judge's apartments — has been meticulously restored as a living history museum where visitors experience Victorian justice through 'Below Stairs', the servants' quarters and the judge's chambers.
