A little history

The departure point for the Pilgrim Fathers in 1620 and Francis Drake's circumnavigation in 1577. Plymouth's naval dockyard — Devonport — has been crucial to the Royal Navy for 500 years. The city was severely bombed in WWII and rebuilt boldly.
