A little history

Newtonmore's Highland Folk Museum is the UK's largest outdoor folk museum — 80 acres containing reconstructed Highland settlements from the 1700s to the 1930s, with costumed interpreters. It is one of the finest museums in Scotland and entry is free. The village is in the Cairngorms National Park.
