A little history

Malton was the Roman fort of Derventio, later a Viking centre. The town's reinvention as a food destination began in 2012 and has been remarkable.

Local tip

The Artisan Market on the last Saturday of the month is one of Yorkshire's great food events. Talbot Yard food court for daily independent food.
