A little history

Maidstone has been Kent's county town since the medieval period. The Museum holds a remarkable collection including Japanese armour, Egyptian mummies and the Maidstone Iguanodon. Leeds Castle — often called the most beautiful castle in the world — is 5 miles away. The Medway provides a beautiful waterfront.
