A little history

Royal Lytham & St Annes has hosted the Open Championship 12 times — more than any other course in England. The town is the most refined of the Fylde resorts — with Victorian and Edwardian architecture, the iconic green windmill on the seafront, and a distinctly upmarket character compared to nearby Blackpool.
