Liphook is a small Hampshire village on the London-Portsmouth railway. The Hollycombe Steam Collection, held in beautiful grounds, has one of the finest steam-powered fairground, agriculture and industrial collections in Britain. The village has good access to the South Downs and Hanger Hill.

Local tip

The Hollycombe Steam Collection on open days is genuinely fun — steam fairground rides and working machinery. Bramshott Common for walking. The village has good independent character.
