A little history

Haverfordwest Castle was built by the Normans and is one of the few remaining medieval town castles in west Wales. The town has been the administrative capital of Pembrokeshire since the medieval period. The Cleddau estuary divides Pembrokeshire into 'Little England beyond Wales' in the south.
