A little history

Farnham Castle was built as a palace for the Bishops of Winchester. William Cobbett — radical journalist who wrote Rural Rides — was born here in 1763. The town's Georgian town centre is one of Surrey's finest. The Crafts Study Centre holds outstanding 20th century craft collections.
