A little history

Eston grew as a mining and ironstone village serving the Teesside iron industry. The Eston Hills — the distinctive flat ridge visible from across Teesside — were mined for ironstone that fired the Victorian industrial revolution. The Nab gives extraordinary views over the Tees estuary.
