A little history

Dorking sits beneath the North Downs in the Surrey Hills AONB. Box Hill, rising 224 metres above the town, is one of the National Trust's most visited properties. The town has been an important market centre since medieval times. The Deepdene House was home to Napoleon III in exile.

Local tip
