A little history

Chiswick's Palladian villa, built by the Earl of Burlington in 1729, influenced English architecture for a century. Fuller's Griffin Brewery has brewed on the Thames at Chiswick since 1654. William Hogarth lived at Hogarth's House from 1749. The Thames towpath and the annual Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race pass through.
