A little history

Builth Wells was one of the Welsh spa towns that attracted Victorian visitors to its sulphur springs. The Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd hosts the Royal Welsh Show — the largest agricultural show in Europe, drawing 240,000 visitors over four days every July. The River Wye flows through the town.
