A little history

Blaby sits on the Fosse Way — the great Roman road connecting Exeter to Lincoln — which gives the village its historical significance as a point on one of Britain's oldest routes. The village grew as a residential community serving Leicester.

Local tip

The Fosse Way as a cycling route is excellent from Blaby southwards. The Soar Valley walking. Countesthorpe and Whetstone nearby for independent local food and community.
